Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt. of India and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. It has widest choice of engineering branches having 15 Under Graduate courses & 13 Post Graduate courses. In addition, it has 20 Research Centres in different branches of Engineering catering to research scholars for obtaining Ph.D under VTU. Various courses are accredited by NBA. The Institute is spread over 29 acres of land with large infrastructure supported by laboratories with state-of-the-art, Equipment & Machines. The Central Library with modern facilities and the Digital Library provides the knowledge base for the students. The campus is WI-FI equipped with large bandwidth internet facility.

The Department of ISE at DSCE is strongly committed to impart innovative and quality technical education with high standards at undergraduate, postgraduate, and research level. The faculty and supporting staff of the department is committed to prepare our students by providing the expertise and proficiency in Information Science and Engineering and its related fields needed to thrive in our modern society.
I am pleased to welcome you to DSCE’s Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. We are widely recognized for the practical and applied nature of our course, which prepare graduates with important skills through exposure to industry and business, and our research, which focuses on solving real problems. This combination enables our graduates to be effective in the workplace immediately upon graduation.
Our department offers undergraduate and Post Graduate courses in Mechanical Engineering with the present intake of 180 students and 36 students respectively. Both Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students are getting ranks consistently at the University Level and the Department has the excellent Placement record with the students getting placed in reputed core industries as well as IT sectors.
